The Company’s outlook
Water and Wastewater Management Company of the Yazd Province tries to provide all the subscribers in Yazd with enough access to clean water according to national and international standards and to also provide all the facilities for collecting, transferring, and refining wastewater and to be known as a pioneer company among the water and wastewater management companies in Iran.
The company’s mission
The mission of this company is to promote the level of health and improve the citizens’ quality of life via fair, consistent, and sustainable distribution of clean and healthy water and collecting, refining, and safe disposal of wastewater in cities and villages of the province observing all the economic principles, ensuring protection of the environment, and using appropriate technologies. It also attempts to fulfill this mission by modernizing, establishing and principled operation of the facilities in accordance with the needs of the cities and villages of the province and also by providing good services to the subscribers.
In order to provide services based on national and international standards and requirements, it uses quality management system of ISO 9001:2015, environmental management system of ISO 14001:2015, safety and health management system of ISO 45001:2018, energy management system of ISO 50001:2018, educational management system of ISO 10015:2019. In addition, in its laboratories, for the purpose of carrying out microbial and chemical water and wastewater tests, it has established the laboratory management system of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and announces its main policies and goals as follows:
1) Using high-end technologies for carrying out sustainable operations related to provision and distribution of drinking water and collecting, transferring, and refining wastewater
2) Providing optimal electronic services to all the subscribers using the accessible portals
3) Promoting the culture of participation aimed at consistent improvement of the procedures and ensuring their effectiveness in line with the customers and beneficiaries’ satisfaction
4) Protecting the environment and water resources by controlling the pollutants and preventing environmental consequences
5) Execution of green management and optimizing resources and energy consumption to protect the environment
6) Making an attempt to provide a safe and secure working environment by preventing and controlling the threats and risks
7) Increasing productivity and promoting the energy indices by controlling the energy-related processes, facilities and equipment
8) Promoting the knowledge of the human resources and empowering the employees as the most important capital of the company
9) Implementation of professional procedures in presenting standard laboratory services in line with obtaining valid results for water and wastewater experimental data
In line with this purpose, by observing all the rules and regulations via effectively executing and maintaining the planned management systems, the Senior Management of Water and Wastewater Management Company of the Yazd Province feels committed to promoting and practicing these policies at all organizational levels of the company and attempting to consistently improve the process of providing services.
