The one God refers to the water as "ma' " with different meanings in 43 suras for 63 times.

 

وَ هوَ الّذي خَلَقَ السّمواتِ وَ الاَرضَ في سِتَّهِ ايّام وَ كانَ عَرشُهُ عَلَي الماء

and Allah`s  Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six daysThrone stayed over the water . (From the Throne He does supervise over the affairs Of the creatures). ..)

وَ جَعَلنا مِن الماءَ كُلُّ شَي ء حَيّ

be the Source of life for all earthly creatures And We appointed water to

وَ لَئِن سَاَلتَهُم مَن نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَاَحيا بِهِ الاَرضَ مِن بَعدِ مَوتِها لَيَقولُنَّ

And if you ask them who is the One who sends down water from the sky and brings  -Life to the earth after its death they will surely say : Allah is the One who does these. 

هُوَالَّذي اَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماء لَكُم مِنهُ شَراب وَ مِنْهُ شَجَرَ فيه تَسيمون * يُنْبِتَ لَكُم بِهِ الزَّرع َ وَ الزَّيتون و النَّخلَ وَ الاَعنابَ وَ مِن كُل الثَّمَراتِ اِنَّ في ذلكَ لَآيَه لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرون

Allah is the One who sends down rain from the sky which is your drinking  water and Also you grow by it grasslands in which you pasture your cattle * Therewith He Brings forth for you plantations , olives , date-palms , grapes and all kinds of fruits And corns . verily , in this is a sign (of Allah`s power) for men of thought .  

: وَاَلقي فِي الاَرضِ رَواسِيَ اَن تَميدَ بِكُم وَ اَنْهاراً وَ سُبُلاً لَعَلَّكُم تَهتَدون

And Allah has cast on the earth firm mountains , lest it may shake you , and also has Created rivers and roads that you may be guided .  

وَ هُوَ الَّذي يُنَزِّلُ الغَيثَ مِن بَعدِ ما قَنَطوا وَ يَنشُرُ رَحمَتَهُ

And Allah is the One who sends down rain after people are despaired due to drought And spreads his grace everywhere

اَفَرَاَيتُم الماءَ الَّذي تَشرَبون

Have you (O , men ) observed your drinking-water 

هُوَ الَّذي اَنزَل مِنَ السَّماء ماءً لَكم مِنه شَراب

Allah is the One who sends down rain from the sky which is your drinking water 

وَ اَنزَلنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً بَقَدَر

And we sent down water from the sky as much as sufficient

وَ ظِلِّ مَمْدود * و ماءٍ مَسْكوب

Also under the trees of expanded shades * and by the ever flowing streams

فَفَتَحنا اَبواب السَّماء بَماء مُنهَ

So we opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring forth ceaselessly

 وَ اَنزَلنا مِنَ المُعصِراتَ ماءً ثَجّاجا

And we sent down from the heavy clouds , water in abundance . 

هُوَ الَّذي خَلَقَ مِنَ الماءِ بَشَر

Allah is the One who created man from water . 

وَ الله خَلَقَ كُلَّ دابَّه مِنَ الماء

Allah created all moving creatures from water . 

انزَلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَاَخرَجْنا به نَبات كُلِّ شيي

Allah is the One who sent down water from the sky and with it we bring forth the  .Shoot of every plant 

اَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماء ماء فَاَحيا بِهِ الاَرضَ بَعدَ مَوتِها

Allah sends down water from the sky  enlives the dry and withered and with it  Earth .

فَاَنزَلنا بِهِ الماء فَاَخرَجنا بِهِ مِن كلِّ الثَّمَرات

Then we send down the rain thereon and bring forth with it fruits  all kinds  of

اَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماء ِماء فَتُصبِح الاَرضَ مَحضَرَّه

Allah sends down rain from the sky and by it the earth becomes green with    Vegetations

فَاِذا اَنزَلنا عَلَيهَا الماء اهتَزَّت وَ رَبَت

After we send down rain to it  then it becomes fresh and green and yields Vegetations and fruits .  

اَنَّ اللهَ اََنزَلَ مِنَ السَّماء ماء فَاَخرجنا بِهِ ثَمَراتٍ مُختَلِفاً اَلوانُها 

Allah sends down rain from the sky by which we brought out fruits with different  Colors . 

وَ يُنَزِّلُ عَلَيكُم مِنَ السَّماء ماءً لِيُطَهِّرَكُم

And he caused rain to descend on you from the sky to clean you thereby .  

: وَ اَنزَلنا مِنَ السَّماء ماءً طَهورا

And we sent down pure water  from the sky
